How Much Do Fitbit Clock Faces Cost?
There are paid options available, but Fitbit clock faces are mostly free to use. In the App Gallery, you can find free clock faces under the Free Clocks section. In one view, you can choose from a massive collection of clock faces that suit your style.
If you can’t choose from the free options, there are some clock faces and apps that require an activation fee or paid subscription such as Deezer and Pandora. You can easily find out if the clock face requires a fee by looking at the description or the message in the app before you download it. Payments are usually made through third-party services like KiezelPay.
The developers of paid clock faces and apps provide payment instructions to process subscriptions easily. However, it’s not always worth it to get paid for clock faces because there are many beautiful and practical clock faces for Fitbits that you can use for free. I tried Smarty and loved how practical it is to use because it includes seconds and I can use it as a timer, too.
It can be confusing to use some apps because a lot of clock faces are free to use. My Versa watch asked me to pay one dollar before I can use the weather app. I never thought there are paid clock faces and apps since I’ve been using the free ones when I got my first Fitbit tracker. It keeps on sending me a code that asks for payment, so I refused to install it.
You don’t need to spend a dime in order to use a new clock face on your Fitbit. To try some Fitbit clock faces for free, simply follow these easy steps:
- Go to your Fitbit mobile app.

Before you decide to get more clock faces on your Fitbit, I want you to know some important things. Consider the following tips, especially if you’re using Fitbit Versa, Sense, and Ionic series:
- When updating your clock face, make sure you don’t have 38 apps or more installed on your device.
- Notice that some designs have different settings and color themes. To change the settings, click on the clock face and then tap Settings.
- The majority of the clock faces need access to stats and other information. If you disable any permission, it may affect the clock faces and they might even stop working. However, you can adjust the access of your clock faces by clicking on the clock face, tapping See all details, and selecting Permissions.
You can save five clock faces on your Versa, Sense, or Ionic watch and easily switch between different styles. When you choose a new design, the clock face is automatically saved as long as you don’t have 5 clock faces already installed. If you want to use a new clock face while you already have five clock faces installed, you can remove a clock face to get a new design.
On the other hand, getting a new face without removing a saved design will still allow you to install it on your Fitbit. However, it will not be automatically added to the saved clock faces on your watch. To change your clock face:
- Go to the Clocks app.
- Scroll until you find the design you want to use.
- On Versa 3 and Sense, long-press the current clock face you’re using to open the Clocks app.
On the Fitbit app, you can also see your clock faces using the following steps:
Click on Today > your Profile Picture > your Device image > and then Gallery. Your clock faces are saved in My Clocks.
Now, if you want to remove any clock face, just tap it and you will see the Remove clock face tab. If you want to switch to another clock face, tap it and the Select tab will appear.
