What Is Fitbit Smart Wake?
Fitbit’s Smart Wake feature is a smart system that allows you to wake up from your sleep without feeling tired. It uses different algorithms, such as your heart rate, to wake you from rest when you are in light sleep. It is better than using the snooze button to wake up from deep sleep.
When you set the alarm on your Fitbit, you will see an option to enable Smart Wake. The Smart Wake feature is a better take on the “Snooze Button,” which lets you cut down on grogginess by only waking you out of light sleep.
This feature finds the best time to wake you using different algorithms, such as your heart rate, to determine when you are in light sleep. It will try to find the best time, starting 30 minutes before the set time. If Smart Wake cannot find the best time to wake you, it will go off at the appointed time and tell you to “Look Alive.”
This function is much better than the traditional snooze button, which wakes you out of deep sleep, feeling tired and groggy. Instead, with Smart Wake, you wake up feeling refreshed.
The Smart Wake feature is available in Fitbit Charge 3, Charge 4, Ionic, Versa, and Sense series devices. It works with your Alarms.
But if you find the “Look Alive” notification a little morbid and would like to turn it off, Fitbit lets you disable notifications for anything. Read on to find out how to turn off Alexa notifications on Fitbit.
