Fitbit Versa was released in 2018. Fitbit has released four models of Fitbit Versa. The Versa models share a premium design and have all the features of a high-end smartwatch. They help you keep track of your fitness, health, and sleeping patterns, in addition to offering smart features and cellular connectivity.

However, the Versa models look similar. So how do you know which Fitbit Versa you have?

You can find out which Fitbit Versa you have by going to your device’s Settings and scrolling down until you see the “About Versa [model]” option. For instance, if you have Fitbit Versa 3, the choice will say “About Versa 3”.

You can also tell which version of Fitbit Versa you have by looking at its case color, buttons, display size, and type.

Colors

You can check which model of your Fitbit Versa you have by looking at its colors. All of its models can have replaceable bands, but there is a slight difference in the casing color of each model.

Below are the different casing color options that the other Fitbit Versa models come in:

  • Versa Lite: Silver, Mulberry, Marina Blue, and Lilac.
  • Fitbit Versa: Black, Silver, and Rose Gold.
  • Fitbit Versa 2: Mist Gay, Copper Rose, and Carbon [Black].
  • Fitbit Versa 3: Black and Soft Gold.
  • Fitbit Versa 4: Graphite, Platinum, and Copper Rose.

Buttons

The button placement of Fitbit Versa models can also help you differentiate between the different models. Below are the different button placement options that the other Fitbit Versa models come in:

  • Versa Lite: One button on the left and nothing on the right.
  • Fitbit Versa: Three buttons; one on the left and two on the right.
  • Fitbit Versa 2: One button on the left and a small hole on the right.
  • Fitbit Versa 3: One button (indentation) on the left.
  • Fitbit Versa 4: One button on the left.

Display Size and Type

The display type and size of your Fitbit Versa can also help you differentiate between the different models. For example, the Fitbit Versa 2, 3, and 4 come with always-on displays. But the screen size of all Fitbit models differs.

  • Versa Lite: 1.34 inches
  • Fitbit Versa: 1.32 inches
  • Fitbit Versa 2: 1.39 inches
  • Fitbit Versa 3: 1.58 inches
  • Fitbit Versa 4: 1.58 inches

How Do I Know if I Have Versa or Versa 2?

You can tell if you have Versa or Versa 2 by looking at its display size, case color, and buttons. For example, Fitbit Versa comes in Black, Silver, and Rose Gold colors with a display size of 1.32 inches and three buttons. Versa 2 comes in Mist Gay, Copper Rose, and Carbon (Black) colors with a display size of 1.39 inches and only one button.

You can also tell the model of your Fitbit Versa by going to your device’s Settings.

  1. Unlock your Fitbit Versa and swipe left.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the “About Versa [model]” option.

The model of your Fitbit Versa will be mentioned in that option. So, for instance, if you have Versa 2, it will say “About Versa 2.”

What Is the Difference Between Fitbit Versa 2 and 3?

Fitbit Versa 2 and 3 differ in the display size, buttons, and case color. The Fitbit Versa 2 comes in Mist Gay, Copper Rose, and Carbon (Black) colors. It only has one button and has a display size of 1.39 inches. Whereas the Fitbit Versa 3 comes in Black and Soft Gold colors. It only has one button (indentation) on the left and has a display size of 1.58 inches. 

If you have a Fitbit Versa 2 or Versa 3, you may find it difficult to determine which model you have as both the models look quite similar. 

Apart from the slight changes in their appearance, you can make sure which Fitbit Versa model you have by going to your device’s Settings and scrolling down until you see the “About Versa [model]” option. The model of your Fitbit Versa will be mentioned in that option.
