Do iPhone lights burn out?
As a general rule, no, iPhone lights won’t burn out as they are made from LEDs, and as per bulbs.com, LEDs have a rated life of up to 50,000 hours which means 5.7 years. You are not going to use the flashlight for that much, period, so it is unlikely that your iPhone flashlight will burn out.
If the iPhone flashlight is kept on then it will remain on until the iPhone battery is completely drained.
However, after charging the battery, you can again use the iPhone flashlight.

Is it okay to leave iPhone flashlight on all night?
In total, it is okay to leave iPhone flashlights on all night because they are made from efficient LEDs, but you should avoid leaving the flashlight on all night. However, keeping the flashlight on for long periods can impact the battery’s performance as it would have to go through repeated charging cycles.
Suppose you are in a place where you don’t have any light and it is nighttime, and you want to sleep with the iPhone flashlight turned on.
Keeping your light on will not impact the iPhone that much as iPhone flashlights are LEDs which are ideal for leaving on for long periods of time due to low power usage and low heat output, they are used for night lights you can’t compare them to traditional light bulbs which heat up quickly.
I’ve occasionally kept my iPhone light on when trying to kill a mosquito in my room; in general, you will harm your iPhones battery health if you leave the flashlight on every night and even run into overheating issues.

According to Apple, an iPhone’s 500A battery is designed to return 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charges when operating under normal conditions, using an iPhone’s flashlight all night while charging is NOT normal conditions, it will cause your iPhone’s battery to degrade faster.

Using an iPhone flashlight does result in faster battery draining. To minimize battery draining hold down the flashlight icon from the control center and drag the slider up/down to change the flashlight intensity based on what you need.

- Drag up and down the slider to change the flashlight intensity.
Sometimes you might also get in a situation where you need light immediately.
So you just grab your iPhone to turn on the flashlight. But wait, what if you don’t want to use the touch screen to turn on the iPhone flashlight?
Or if you can’t turn the iPhone light using the touch screen at that moment. So in that situation, wouldn’t it be great if you could turn on the flashlight by shaking the iPhone?

The iOS tweak from OpenPack repository ShakeLight allows you to activate the iPhone’s LED flashlight by shaking the iPhone, you can shake it again to turn off the LED light, you do need to jailbreak your iPhone.

It is better to stay with the default settings, rather than doing things that may cause issues later on still; if you have already jailbroken your iPhone or if you are planning to do so, then there’s a way by which you can shake your iPhone to turn on the flashlight.
Shakelight is a tweak that allows you to turn on the iPhone flashlight by shaking. Also, when you can turn it off by shaking again.
This Shaklight tweak will only work if you have kept your iPhone unlocked.
Yes, by this, it means you have to interact with the touch screen anyway. But think, the shaking feature might be useful for you when your phone is unlocked, but you don’t want to touch the screen to turn on the flashlight.
As per rd.com, Apple strongly discourages jailbreaking iPhone. Apple also highlights that jailbreaking the iPhone can lead to crashes, freezes, and data loss. So I also recommend you not to do so.
Using the lock screen, Siri, and the control center are some of the normal ways in which you can turn on the flashlight.
There’s also another feature, Back Tap by which you turn on the flashlight just by tapping at the back of the iPhone a few times.

Then, you can set this tapping feature by which whenever you tap two or three times at the back of your iPhone, your flashlight will be turned on immediately.

However, if you have jailbroken your iPhone, then there is a tweak by which your iPhone’s flashlight will turn off automatically, even if you forget.
Using OhMyFlash tweak, you can set a customizable timeout period after which your iPhone flashlight will turn off automatically.
