Fitbits are one of the best fitness trackers that also double as smartwatches. Many prefer sharing their devices with their family members instead of getting multiple devices for each member. It’s more affordable that way. But is it possible to have two accounts on a Fitbit?

Yes, you can have two accounts on a Fitbit. However, you can only create one account on one email address. So each user should have their own Fitbit account to make it work. When the first user syncs their data to Fitbit, they can hand it over to the second user to set it up as a new device.

Users can only associate one Fitbit account per email address. So if you want to have two accounts on Fitbit, you will have to use different email addresses for each account.

To make this work, the first user must track their activities, sync them to their Fitbit account on their device, and sign out of their account. Next, the second user will have to set the Fitbit device as a new device on their Fitbit account and then track their activity.

Once they are done, they can sync it to their account and log out. Now the first user can connect Fitbit to their account by logging in. Again, remember to sync your data before handing the other user your Fitbit.

You can create a study Gmail account if you don’t want to confuse yourself by using multiple email IDs for two Fitbit accounts. Then, for every Fitbit account, you can add additional characters to the email address to make it look unique. All your Fitbit accounts will be linked to the same Gmail account.

You will also be asked to provide your demographic details, such as weight, height, gender, and date of birth. Once your account is created, log into it on the Fitbit app by logging out of your first account. Make sure to sync your Fitbit data with your first account before you log out.
