The Wellness Report on Fitbit is the collection of your health metrics. It is a breakdown of your activity, sleep, heart rate, and, if enabled, weight over the last 30 days.
Although this feature is currently available for Fitbit Premium accounts only, non-Premium users can also use it with limited functionality. The report is not merely a recreation of your Fitbit stats but a compilation of your fitness that you can track over the months and years.
You can get your Fitbit Wellness Report by requesting it from the Wellness Report tile inside the Health & Fitness Stats section. After opening the Discover Tab from your Fitbit app, you can find this section. The report is made available in the inbox of your Fitbit app.
Here is a step by step account of the process:
- Launch the Fitbit app on your smartphone.
- Open the Discover tab.
- From here, select the Health & Fitness section.
- This section will see tiles for various metrics that your Fitbit tracks.
- Tap on the tile labeled Wellness Report.
- The app will prompt you to specify the period you want to receive the report. Please enter it.
- Read the full description and press “Request My Report.”
- When the information is ready, you will receive a notification from the app.
- You can view the report in the inbox of your Fitbit app. The icon is located inside the Today tab.
Once you have requested the report, it takes about five to ten minutes to arrive in your inbox. After that, you can either download it to your device or have a shareable version sent to your registered email.
When asked for a shareable version, the report sometimes ends up landing in your spam folder, so be sure to check there. Also, since it is in PDF format, you can easily share the data with your fitness instructor or healthcare provider.
Note that you have to be a Fitbit Premium user to make the most of this feature. All the other users can only generate Wellness Reports for the past month. Plus, your app should be updated to the latest version with the required permissions enabled to work flawlessly.
